“I smashed the vase.” “No, I smashed the vase.” Can’t help thinking about that old “Brady Bunch” episode.

My brother and I were lucky, we had our (then) unfinished basement to bang pucks around up on Vancouver Island. Only had to stop when Mum needed to use the laundry or get into the big freezer. Hockey rules!!

Multiple choice question:Q – When do you quit throwing the ball in the house?(a) – When you’re told(b) – When you almost break something© – When you actually break something

    For most of us, it’s © ;)

Used to play floor hockey in gym. Thursdays were a big “Do what you want” day, preferably as long as it was doing something physical and especially something we’d done in class some time during the year. Group of us boys would get together and play floor hockey, probably much to the coach’s chagrin as we ended up smashing just about every one of the sticks. Though maybe that pleased him since they were old, plastic sticks and he could have used us as an excuse for getting new equipment. Nothing quite like either trying to pass the puck or take a shot at the goal and either hit the floor and have the stick snap in two or contact another player’s stick as they try stealing the puck from you and having both blades go skidding across the gym floor while you try figuring out just what happened.
