Grammar nitpick: Adaption is when something evolves into a different version, as when gills might adapt themselves into lungs over time – a natural process. Adaptation is when something from one medium is arbitrarily reworked to fit another medium.

The stuff they crank out now is hard to follow, too. Half of them are like watching a video game.

gaslightguy, ALL of them are like watching a video game! My criteria? If there’s an explosion in the movie trailer, I don’t watch the movie. That just leaves British films and Disney.

Having just watched Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies and sitting through ALL the previews… this is too too true.
