Maybe your tangerine tree lacks a mate (sex), or has found too much nitrogen (bodies buied there?), which biases a plant for leaf over fruit.

Garmin with walk mode and city update very good in Venice, where sidewalks (fondamente), water bus stops (vaporetto) and bridges are hard to predict, water taxis very expensive and addresses are just a number and an island (of about 4).

I was multi-tasking and taking just a VERY quick look at today’s strip, and for some odd reason I thought at first that Chalkie had said “cannibals” instead of “canals.” (I suppose if a reader does a double take, that counts as action……) Wouldn’t you love to see an arc where Andy travels to a place that has cannibals?

@Number SixThere are numerous “Columbo” books (written by William Harrington) that I read a few years back. He really captures the character well although of course Peter Falk added that extra zest.

@Number SixI’ve read all the Rumpole books but somehow or other I’ve never seen the TV version! I’m not sure why. I really like the Brother Cadfael TV version (and the books!) and of course I’ve read all the Poirot adventures numerous times and seen all the TV adaptations at least once. I have to admit that I’m not a big Sherlock Holmes fan, and I don’t really know much about Inspector Frost, but I do recognize the name.

@Number ThreeIt’s Mr. Bean’s 60th birthday today, where are you? LOL. I hope you’ll come back soon. (By the way, I was a Mr. Bean fan years before I’d so much as heard of Blackadder, but then became a big Blackadder fan.)
