Brutus: Hello, Hasty Tasty Pizza delivery? I'd like a large sausage pizza.
WHIMPER WHIMPER
Brutus: Oh, uh...could you make that with extra sausage?
Brutus: I almost forgot it was Kewpie's birthday!
Kewpie’s been around for decades, so I’m sure Brutus knows where to call to get non-pork sausage. Now, if it were for himself, I’m sure his luck would dictate that something goes horribly wrong.
And just a little followup: after checking several sources from veterinarians and pet food specialists, it appears that pork being bad for dogs is (partly) a myth. Here’s the most concise summary: >>>"As part of a well balanced diet, pork isn’t any more dangerous than beef, lamb or chicken. The fat content is key, and many pets suffer from pancreatitis when fed excessively fatty, greasy table scraps – which are not part of a balanced diet. The most susceptible animals are those who don’t eat anything but kibble all year and suddenly get an overload of “goodies” on thanksgiving or other holidays."<<< Bottom line, Kewpie is in worse danger from the pizza itself, whether or not the sausage is pork.
Come to think of it, there’s the Thornapple twist. No pork, but the sausage will still be extra greasy. Sorry Kewpie, I guess if you hang around the Born Loser long enough…
