I hate these 60’s and 70’s strip where they keep giving you the acronym name for the group and then feel the need to tell you what it means every time they use the acronym.

@Doc 1947G that could be the time stamp on the scan, that was the time somebody scanned the original paper comic strip.

@Ocsl these Sunday strips are 90s vintage, the other alternative is to use terms like KAOS and SMERSH which may or may not mean anything.
