Hey Ellie cut the kid some slack. He could of gone out and got some exercise but no. You had to make him stay and clean his room. You could of asked him to clean his room after dinner when it gets dark.

Let him wallow in his mess while he’s young. When he’s grown, he’ll have a wife to pick up after him. Elly picks up after John and John’s hired help picks up after him at his office.

That’s almost a description of me. My mom was very neat (a stay-at-home mom) and to me neatness is not quite so important. My adult son, on the other hand, is very neat.
