This possibly my favourite Feininger page. So beautiful! I agree with the comment above, that this is one of the greatest Sunday pages ever. It lavishly illustrates what comics can do with a huge space, and shows what the art form lost when comics shrank. Bring back huge comics!!
The different Sunday comics in this series has shown me comics that my Father talked about. As a young lad I remember Buster Brown foot wear but never saw the coinc itself,
