Baby walkers are banned in Canada, with fines up to $100,000 levied for selling one! Hero, a border collie belonging to Sara Carson of Ontario, can blow bubbles! A traditional South Korean cheongo drum, on display in Yeongdong County, measures 18 feet in diameter and weighs 8 tons!

Got to be reliability issues with those baby walkers. The same goes with donating used baby car seats.

Our first car seat (1968) hooked over the front seat.(the kid survived – now 47 years old.We had one of those walkers – fine if confined to a flat and level room. But, not good if there are any stairs or dropoffs.

So now kids have to be in a seat facing backwards in the back of the car. Good in theory, but too easy to forget they are there! With the front seat hook over seat you were always aware of where the kid was!

All boils down to one thing -if the world was made of foam rubber -we’d never learn to walk!

Question of the day-how many kids are being saved by the new requirements in event of crashesvs number lost by heat stroke when overlooked andleft in a closed car?

Canadians are wussies! Anyone who’s watched Axmen on the History Channel, and seen all the gear their loggers are required to wear versus what American loggers wear can see that.
(Comment partially, but not wholly, tongue in cheek.)

The Canadian ban is for a double reason. I., they can cause various accidents. II., babies that use them actually take longer to learn to walk. So it’s all downside and no upside.
