And I took the comment as when they got married in their 20’s he WAS a young man. Or a different spin would be if he was a year or two younger than her. At their age it’s okay to be home on Saturday nites. We are in our mid 50’s and unless we have specific plans, we are home.

Since we age all the time (though the appearance of aging goes in spurts) she married a younger man even if they were just married. Rather a sweet thing for her to say, really.
