Hi Jason, Barb, Dry, Lonewolf, Joe, Bjorn and all Meggsie fans
RE graffiti: It’s most reassuring to catch up with contemporaries you haven’t seen for 20+ years and just know you haven’t aged as much as they have. Another way to knock years off is to make an anagram of your age, but only during certain years. Just knocked 36 years off mine that way, had a hot shower, looked in the steamed-up mirror and … BINGO … it worked.
Many of the old ways that kids grew up with did not continue because many parents did not continue to promote them to their children. Here in Chicago, they still have dodgeball and pickup games. My son loves to play dodgeball and tetherball and they still play them in his school.
Lonewolf
I suggested putting a second floor in the doghouse yesterday to make it the world’s first Macmuttmansion but Mike didn’t seem interested. Maybe having a tenant would interest him the way rents are going through the roof here.
They have been pals for a long time. Maybe Jason could give us some background and dates on their meeting.
Ah yes - you mut look closely to catch the subtle movements :)
Tony and Mike met in the 30’s when Ginger’s uncle Jim brought Tony home from a trip to South America. It was a birthday present to Ginger (All will be revealed in the 90th anniversary series next year!)

The dates and some background would be nice. How does that sound, Jason?

I’ll have to take your word on that with the beard off, Joe. I too caught the nodding of the head and it’s meaning long after I first read the strip.

Hah, now I’ll be on pins and needles all the rest of this year waiting. But that’s alright, because I like reading this strip everyday, Jason.
And Usfellers has helped so much and deserves Kudos for that! His info is so very interesting.
Thank you, Usfellers!
