Here’s your sign…

Rover went roving … probably in another strip by now … may be all the way to Mutts if he’s chasing a squirrel … hope he doesn’t try to climb a kite-eating tree … good grief. But Mister Red seems to have everything under control.

Red gives Rover a long leash - a lot of wiggle room, what-ever.

Messin’ with the kid’s mind, are we Rover?

Red is “Mister?” hee hee…

I always suspect that was how those reel-leashes were invented.
