When I was about 2, my parents say I tried the wax apple from the arrangement on my grandparents’ coffee table.

Gonna have to Google “higgs bosons”

I thank god every day that my son isn’t as picky an eater as I was growing up. Thanks god.

An apple a day keeps the Higgs Bosons away.

At least apples are fairly straightforward. Imagine if she’d snuck in a more complicated fruit, like a pomegranate.

I imagine Petey could cope with an apple, provided it was peeled, cored, and sectioned beforehand.

@fritzoid; the apple slices would also need to be soaked in some lemon juice to keep them from turning brown.

Butr we won’t tell Petey about the lemon juice, or he won’t eat the apple because it is two diferent foods that have [gasp!] touched each other!
