Someday Pope Francis will go to be with the Lord, and at that time, I do hope this comic strip will continue, perhaps with Brother Leo providing the continuity between Francis and the next pope. Of course, Comic Land need not follow the lead of Reality Land, but Brother Leo is truly worthy of his own strip, if need were to arise.
Too true! I used to sell quite a lot of arugula at Farmers’ Market; customers either loved it or hated it, with very few folks in between. We’d always insist that anyone who had never eaten it taste it before buying for that reason.

Dress it with pungent vinegar over olive oil and a little seasoning.

Sorry but brother Leo looks like a clown with his rosey nose and cowlicks.
