I object to the use of a nimrod in a negative connotation. A nimrod, by definition. Is a person who hunts game with a rifle. Use a dictionary. Otherwise,another funny strip.

Good thing he didn’t do his Karl Marx imitation.

Time flies like an arrow. Fruit flies like a banana.

Nimrod was a king mentioned in the Book of Genesis, who was said to have led the building of the Tower of Babel. That’s why his name is associated with foolishness.

Great. The image of Margaret Dumont as Andy popped into my head and I can’t get it out.

I find television very educating. Every time somebody turns on the set, I go into the other room and read a book.

What do great hunters have to do with pretzels?

I use the Warner Brothers’ Dictionary. If it’s good enough for Bugs it’s good enough for me!

Outside of a dog, there is nothing better than a good book. Inside of a dog, it’s too dark to read.
