No, Annie is not a cat and therefore she will not go with hairballs, mange and ticks. But, Chesney, remember she is a very good cat-caring girl! This counts – not the pointy ears, the whiskers and a long, bushy tail!

Look, Chesney, this is what Annie does for you – to give you a plate with cat food like my little Margie got one.

Annie shouldn’t feel bad about the kitties pointing out her shortcomings as a cat…after all, she never claimed to be a cat.

Even Hello Kitty, who does have pointy ears and whiskers, though not often a tail, was recently declared by her creators to be not a cat.

Cathood must be a very exclusive state.

Apparently, not even everyone who aspires to it is accepted….much less a little girl with no desire to be feline.

Gweedo, my in-laws usually go to an all-inclusive hotel. I do know my mother-in-law picks up small items such as pantyhose and sample sized hair care products and hand lotions to leave as gifts. They also try to leave large tips. They have said that the people are very poor, but I’m not sure if they have actually visited any villages. I can ask, though.

Reminds me of one of the great Larson panels, the poodles acknowledging that, once they kill her, the pampering will end.

Oh, and Good evening everyone!

Sheba is now on eye drops as well as eye ointment. When the vet put it in her eye, she just let him do it. She loves him. When I tried the next night, all heck broke loose. She closed her eyes so I couldn’t put in the ointment and actually bared her teeth at me when I wrapped her up like a burrito in my fuzzy robe and tried to put the drops in. The vet has kindly offered to do it every day if I bring her to his office. Something to think about. Will try again tonight first. >^00^<

Maybe she’s part Vulcan with the pointy ears? That should account for something! ;)

All the strips are missing, I only got Girth tonite, Did the whole site crash? Or did they forget to pay the rent?
