Interestingly enough, Joni Ernst’s English-language response said nothing about immigration, while Carlos Curbelo’s Spanish-language one did. Curbelo also seems to be one of the (very) few House Republicans who are relatively moderate on the issue of immigration.

I think saying “self-deport yourself” is bad English. Anyway… e se você escuta o programa no português (what about if you’re listening to the program in Portuguese)?

Maybe Lalo is hoping that two of the leading Republican candidates who are Hispanic and Jeb Bushe’s wife who is Hispanic will deport them self.
