I’ve not seen Food Network in a long time… mostly “Good Eats” and “Emeril Live.” Now I just do the YouTube cooking channels Scoff Food, All Recipes, Food Wishes, Japanese Cooking 101, Maangchi, and Cooking With Dog (that last one is just a dog “narrating” what’s being cooked).
When I hear Youtube cooking shows, I always think “Drunk Kitchen” or “Todd’s Kitchen”. One needs to put down the wine, the other needs to put down the doughnuts.
My wife watches cooking shows. She has a ton of recipes written down on index cards. But we mostly eat beans and ground beef. I think I get better recipes from facebook. Simpler, too.
