Rob says, "See, the Trojan horse was a trick gift. It was full of Greek soldiers who popped out and attacked the city of Troy." Bucky says, "Ok, so my original assessment was right, then, it was a garbage gift." Rob says, "No, see, the Greeks didn't care how 'good' a gift it was-" Bucky says, "Clearly." Rob says, "No, see, they just needed to get men inside the city walls so that they could let their army in." Bucky says, "In my opinion, the Troys should have looked this gift horse in the mouth. they'd have seen a bunch of little Greekers in there with knives."

Bucky DID get this one right! The Troy people should have “looked the gift horse in the mouth”, or been suspicious. Instead, they just accepted it at “face value”.

Yeah, that ‘look a gift-horse in the mouth’ saying does originate from the Iliad, written sometime around 8 centuries BCE, although pretty sure Achilles didn’t actually say it.
