Transcript:
Katy: How lovely that you all could come. No, Mr. Prescott, I won't pass you the finger sandwiches. You've had quite enough. Now, I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but high society has certain rules. Gasp! Mr. Prescott! I believe you've taken leave of your senses! Your churlish behavior demands that I ask you to leave! Clayton: Katy kind of takes after dad, huh? Katy: I said good day, sir!

At least Katy is not yelling at Wink. Love it when Harrell throws in a character from Big Top.

I think Mr. Prescott takes after Adam!

Perhaps if Mr Prescott were simmered in a rich broth with some dumplings it would improve his manners. That’s how we country folk in Tennessee handle uppity squirrels.

For a six-year-old girl, Katy has a fine grasp of high-Victorian language.

Weird, really weird! Not for a kid Katy’s age, of course…

And isn’t that Bob the squirrel?
Hunter7 almost 10 years ago
nah. Bob is on Katy’s right. Bob B. Bunny. Esq. He’s learned that Mr Prescott can be a little squirrely at the afternoon teas. He keeps his mouth shut. … and sneaks another finger sandwich while Katy is distracted.

You know, she kind of does take after Adam in terms of imagination, though I wouldn’t go telling her that at this age.
