    it’s always bothered me - the correct way of saying it, is, did we have a common ancestor with apes

    apes and monkeys are adapted to their ecological niche it was like when this gal called a plecostamus a very primitive fish no, it’s adapted extremely well to being an algae eater , not primitive by much
