Alice: We're getting a piano at Blisshaven! Petey: You know what Johann Sebastian Bach said about playing the piano? "Hit the right keys at the right time and the instrument plays itself." Alice: HA! I can hit things! This is going to be easy! Petey: He also had 20 kids and wore a wig the size of a bath mat.

Just got a mental picture of Alice hitting the piano keys with a wooden mallet, while wearing a bath mat on her head …

I would think that Alice, and Johann’s son PDQ’s music would be a match made in heaven.

Small children and loud musical instruments do not mix well. I predict tears and many time outs to come of this.

A piano at a pre-school should be considered a dangerous weapon.

I thought Bach’s technique involved hitting ALL the keys at the SAME time.
“Tonight, Miss Alice Otterloop makes her Carnegie Hall debut with selections from The Short-Tempered Clavier.”

Alice would be perfectly “in tune” with PDQ Bach! I can just see her now — not sure what her favorite piece might be but since Petey brought up the wig the size of a bath mat — maybe her favorite PDQ Bach piece would be “The Seasonings” which is performed by a robed choir…

You know what they say: children aren’t born believing they can’t sing (or play the piano), they have to be taught that lesson.
