George and Gracie from years ago….the optometrist asks Gracie to read the smallest line she can…she reads “Printed in USA”….the Doc has to get right up to the printed chart before he can see it….“Next” he calls out!!
Catman5169,I remember a story like that from the old Mister Ed show. When Wilbur tried using an eye chart to see how well Ed could see, Ed read something at the bottom of the chart describing who designed or published it, and told Wilbur.Wilbur had to get right up close to read the fine print at the bottom of the chart in order to read it for himself.
