Yeah, Joy Division didn’t even end well for its own lead singer.
But yeah, a sobbing lemming is completely normal.
On a more serious note, suicidal lemmings is a Disney-perpetuated myth. The Alaska Department of Fish and Game says so too.

Odd thing is that no member of Joy Division ever wore black lipstick and eye-liner…. They looked very normal in slacks and button downs…though I do recall Hooky wearing a leather jacket.

on the other hand back in 1982/83 when I was VERY depressed I would listen to Joy Division and then realize that the lead singer was worse off than I was…. In an odd way it was medicine for the mind.
