I kind of liked the last one.

Lennie, I am so sorry to hear that your Ginger died (I missed that strip).

It is so sad to loose a companion, a family member.

I’m sorry I missed something. I read your strip everyday and I can’t remember your cat dieing. Maybe I just didn’t believe it because I hat loosing a pet. I hope you do take in another since the little ones need homes.

I read this strip the first time around but didn’t start reading it until almost the end. I can tell you that Lennie skipped a lot of strips including one where he rushes Ginger to the vet and the vet can’t save her. I don’t know why we’ve suddenly jumped to the end.

I’m really bummed. First, Tommy the cat in the Bob The Squirrel strip passes away. I had not read The Big Picture during it’s original run, so Ginger’s passing is fresh to me. Thank you @sassymm for the background information. And, my own cat is having a health problem right now that may require surgery. Thank you, Lennie Peterson, for sharing Ginger’s stories. It was what drew me to your strip. <3

This likely happened a long time ago…as the lead time on this strip is something like 5 years. I believe the strip actually ended a long time ago, and they’ve been running the archive on here.
