    WHY IS IT THAT THIS IS ONE OF THE FUNNIEST STRIPS BEING PRINTED TODAY? EXCEPT FOR LIO, THE REST ARE JUST EXERCISES IN WASTING INK MOST OF THE TIME.

    Probably because these strips were drawn many years ago, when the comics really were funny.

    In the last panel, Jeff looks like he should be either performing in the circus or wandering around with a bottle of booze in his hand. There’s just something about patched clothes and a top hat…
