Just how long will it take before Janis realizes that her BFF is going to be an overly attached female.

Jimmy is contributing to the totally unrealistic body image for women in the media that pressures them to try and stay as thin as possible! This week’s strips show Janis as an adult woman probably in her mid to late 40s in her underwear without an ounce of fat or cellulite…a typical fantasy of a middle age man.

Perhaps JJ is trying to depict Janis as a role model. She looks good because she takes care of herself… diet and exercise. Unfortunately very few women.. or men.. do that nowadays. They are overweight because they overeat, and the only exercise they get is from the house to the car.
