Well, Dave’s exercising great Ctrl. This tech support sounds kind of Shifty. He really needs some Alt advice, but there’s no Esc from this kind of incompetence.

have you pulled the plug – waited 30 seconds and then plugged it back in and waited for the lights to come on?
