Ancient Greeks believed the carrot was a potent aphrodisiac! Noelle Woods of Garner, NC, has a sky high wisdom tooth- it's in her sinus cavity! A swordfish speared the submersible Alvin in 1967- in retaliation, the crew ate it for dinner!

How is it even possible for a swordfish’s “sword” to pierce through metal?

Shouldn’t that carrot be purple?

About the wisdom tooth that isn’t that uncommon! My sisters top two wisdom teeth grew into her sinus and had to be removed.

I wonder if she gets sinus headaches a lot. Can they not extract that tooth?

Alvin has many bits outside of the pressure vessel, I suspect the sword fish stabled a wire or plastic cover.

Yes, carrot roots in that era were purple. But it doesn’t matter, really, because they were raised for the greens, anyway.
