    Reminds me of 4th grade, came home and dad asked me how I did in arithmetic.“Well, I did better today than I did yesterday!”“That’s good, but what did you get today?“52”“Good grief – what did you get yesterday?”“48”Later on, algebra began to make more sense, plus advanced math, trig, geometry, and three courses of Calculus.But, in hindsight, in my entire life I used calculus only once!

    Speaking of math:A mathematician predicted that electromagnetic (radio) waves should exist years before anyone had any idea how to generate or even detect them!And how about the (HPV?) shots we’re giving our kids now? It was detected by number crunchers years before biologists discovered the virus!

    I used number crunchers because I’,m not certain how (Statisticians?) is correctly spelled:But through analysis of behaviors, something was causing an uptick in cervical cancers, but it was some time before the actual pathogen was isolated!
