@varnes Greyhound; whippets are smaller (and live in Yorkshire :) ).
Most dog owners round here use ball launchers, rather than actually throw the balls.

If you grow up with a greyhound you should develop an arm like an outfielder. 60 feet is too short a distance.

We used to have a part greyhound mutt. She used to chase cars with the local boarder collies, but, unfortunately, being faster, she actually caught one.

That’s why boxers have such squashed faces: chasing parked cars.
