Now I know who that portly man is who has his pants on fire. It’s the one who tells what needs to be done to get your comic on the main page. Cleo did that to him for spite.
Hey Nighthawks Susan isn’t the only one who lives for puns. Thanks for the one-two punch. I can’t help but laugh when they come fast and furious like that.
SUSAN, happened to check my yahoo email tonight, which I don’t do much anymore as there isn’t much there to check, but I saw your email from April. THANK YOU! And that puzzle was fun! I did it twice! :-D Thanks again! If you send me something there, give me a “heads up” on here or one of my other “haunts” on here, and I will know to check.

“Forge” as to hammer out of hot iron, or as to create a false representation?

Maybe you can forge a few Benjamins on the office color copier.

Burning britches forever more was the theme song for the 1970 movie Kelly’s heroes with Clint Eastwood, Telly Savalas and Donald Sutherland.

When I was in college I witnessed fart lights go horribly wrong, but I never thought I’d see them depicted in cartoons almost 50 years on.

Howdy all….
even StelBel…. What are you doing up?
Am I the only one who was having trouble with Sherpa tonight?
First GoComics wouldn’t open at all… (again)…
and when it finally did, the Sherpa page had no comic image….
It would start loading from the top…. several times it got as far as showing the speech balloons that say “Yaaaaaah”…
then the page would suddenly refresh itself and I’d get an error message.
If I right clicked and tried to see just the image alone, it was blank.
Now I can finally see it…
I mean, of course, the May 3th 2020 “CLEO and COMPANY” on Sherpa. All that time “panting” … for this?
Just joking, of course… I live for puns…
and I’ve burned a few britches in my time.
Hey Stel… since you’re here…. that reminds me of a movie role I was going to suggest for Cleo…
I think she’d be great starring in “The Bitches of Madison County.”
Seems like it would make a dog gone good movie… even though trying to read the book made me howl.

although bitches is a common term for female doggies——I’m thinking Stel wouldn’t go that far , due to some
folks being offended

I hope I’m wrong, though—-Bitches of Madison County is a perfect title for movie poster parody , Stel’s forte

I’m still humming “Burning Britches”. Love the New Christy Minstrels, too.
Of course, I love Cleo best.
