RING!
Gladys: I wonder who this is?
Brutus: What does the caller ID say?
RING!
Gladys: It says "Unavailable."
RING!
Brutus: If they aren't available, why are they calling us?
And then there’s “Toll Free Call”, “Private Call”, “Texas”, “California”, “New York”, etc.If caller ID says “New York” is calling me, that must be quite a conference call.
If they’re Unavailable, then so am I . . . I won’t answerany call like that. If they won’t leave a message then they didn’t need to call in the first place.
If you dial *77 you can block calls that have ‘Unknown’ in the caller ID. Well, in my case since I have TWC digital phone I had to logon to their website and change a setting but ever since I did I haven’t had any calls from persons Unknown.
@Aurther DentInteresting, i’ll give that a go. Do you know if that’s a toggle on/toggle off code? Although if it works, I guess I can’t think of any reason why I’d want to turn it off again.

Unfortunately I have several friends who do not have caller ID and I get the city they are in. Usually it’s from their cell phones.

That’s a good one. I think I’ll try it!
