If the fortune tellers can’t tell their own fortunes well, what makes the rest of the populace think that they’ll have some miraculous news for them? :P

Not me. I want to be cremated and mixed with fertilizer and used to plant a tree or bush. Put a little beauty in the world.

dkram beat me to it. Today’s strip is SO banal! Of COURSE, there’s a plot in his future - as there is for all of us that will die and be buried.

Pam, agreed better to bring a little beauty in the light of the world than feed worms in the dark. (Of course in our fears, we use vaults to prevent even THAT natural progress, well, except those folks who go for only a shroud within 24 hrs.)

Is this really the best way to urn your living?

I told my oldest son to have me cremated, put me in a coffee can, get a post hole digger, and plant me between me Mom and Dad. Plots already paid for.

I want to be cremated so my ashes will be mingled with those of the grate.

pamlicorat, that sounds like a great idea! The only thing I’d do different is to first let them take any organs that could still be of use to someone.

I’m still conflicted about organ-legging, as proved when local hospitals were busted selling relevant bits on the black market.

Aside from that, I won’t mind what they do with the ‘remains’.

After all is said and done, everything gets recycled. Every. Single. Thing. Sooner, or later.
