A somewhat enlarged image can be found at Mr. Melcher’s blog entry (yesterday). Again, it is a cropped image; but, all these seem to be, either on the right or left. The Little Bacchus (A.K.A The Drinking Bacchus, link shows his Wikipedia page) is shown, with a different coloration image, by its current-location, in an exhibition page. The full framed image can be seen 1:50 into the (German, fullscreen is active) video embedded there. The different coloration, click-to-enlarge image included with this exhibition description (Google translated), more closely matches the image in the (German) exhibition brochure.A closer-to-the-strip-coloration image can be found here. I find the symmetric streams amusing. The artist also painted at least one adult version of him (click for full size) found here. The artist’s Wikipedia page (Google translated Italian Wikipedia page has more) and collection (more under Subcategories at each level).Second, of the 2 works, by this artist, that have, so far, appeared in Mr. Melcher’s blog, to also appear here (2 total).
This is a disturbing painting was it meant to titillate or is there an allegorical meaning to “wine in piss out”!I imagine if you hung it on the wall of your villa you’d have some splainin’ to so!

Is this “cherub” in the process of falling forward into its own urine? This is a strange painting.

Bacchus as a child? Or is this the same kid as the one on Rubens’s painting of Bacchus?

garcoa: The convenience is somewhat spoiled by having to lug around all that useless fabric.
