I am guessing that using the same background allows for a longer animation than usual. Good timing, more lifelike movements in the truly animated parts.
GOOD MORNING BALLARDEERS! Quarantined Day 243, 964….
Lotta strangled toads yesterday and quite a few dummies stalled in the gully washers. Wisconsin courts made the restrictions go away. The bars were immediately full. Sorry dummasses, but no sympathy from me if you get sick.
Well, I only got 8. (sniff sniff). The one I missed was one of the ‘easy’ ones that I stared at and just didn’t see. Sneaky Mr. Nighthawks, hiding things in plain sight!

If I am not mistaken, this is a new animation. Check out the stubble on that Ba-ad basset. The groomers are all too scared to give him a shave.

Between the two of them, I think the horse looks just a little more intimidating. Good job.

One of my favorite lines from The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance was just for BlackJack Basset:
“This is the West, Sir. When the legend becomes fact, print the Legend.”
This must be Old West Week. Love the Legend of BlackJack Basset! Great job Nighthawks and StelBel.

BlackJack Basset sure knows how to silence a town.
Excellent today!

Nice touch turning the “HOTEL” into the “HO EL” (in the wall).
