870 pages, she just read Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix.
I was about 11 when the first Harry Potter came out. I wasn’t going to read it until I heard about all the book burnings so I went out and bought me a copy just to see what all the fuss was about.
I had just read Order of the Phoenix, when I drew this. (Every time someone uses the acronym “OTP” to mean “one true pairing,” I take a minute to realize it’s not Order of the Phoenix.)
Which do you prefer, reading the books then seeing the movie to grasp the plot; or watching the movie then read the books so you can visualize the characters and settings while reading?

It is bad for you – Millie’s face in the second square is terrifying. :-)

Harry Potter is not that good anyway.

Never read more than the first one.

If that’s what it takes to get kids to read, then so be it.

So few enjoy reading the Encyclopedia Britannica. Seriously, I did read it. I would scan for the parts I was interested in then read up on it.

The Harry Potter FanFiction section is incredible, especially if you stay with the large series.
