I can't find fault in your logic, boy. Chocolate labs probably do take fewer baths than most other breeds, since the color of their coat hides dirt better.
Our Gizmo didn’t care much for baths, but she did love the shower!
Turn the shower on to a comfortable temp, let her in and close the door. She would dash back and forth in and out of the spray until I turned the water off; then she would look up at me completely soaked and with a quizzical look, probably wondering what happened…

I have a chocolate lab and the dirt doesn’t show as much, but he can still get stinky! LOL!

Chocolates might not not show dirt as much as some labs, but they still LOVE the water!!

I have to hold my Gracie down during her bath or she will jump and run! Rover looks a lot more cooperative.
