Hey! What's all this?!! 100.8 inches of snow fell on Capracotta, Italy, on March 5, 2015! Best job ever! At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, officials tested the safety of the athlete's food using white mice. Neither snow, nor rain, nor iceberg...! If more than 7 million pieces of mail aboard the Titanic are ever recovered, the US Postal Service must attempt to deliver them!

The mail bit is real. In New Haven, CT in the 70s they found some mail bags that had been dumped into the sound after a mail robbery in the 50s. Folks started getting glassine envelopes containing the old letters and a note from USPS apologizing for the delay in delivery.

Since the US Postal System has not yet taken delivery from the British carrier, it would seem likely to be the Brit’s problem.

Any mail recovered from the Titanic would more likely be considered historical artifacts and subject to the special salvage provisions proposed by the NOAA for conservation of those artifacts.http://www.gc.noaa.gov/gcil_titanic-salvage.html
