Wowsers. This boomerang must've been up in that tree a long time, till I spotted it and shook it loose. Whaddya do with a boomerang? You throw it and it's supposed to come right back to you. Kinda like playing fetch by yourself! A concept I am all too familiar with. Look, if I brought back every ball or stick you ever through, you would never get the kind of exercise you do chasing after me.

I remember when I was a kid and rolled up the cuffs of my jeans like Red. By the time I got home at night and unrolled them I’d find all kinds of interesting things. Grass, grasshoppers, a toad, garden snake, etc. The fields out in the sticks where we lived were a jungle.

I walk around the house and yard barefoot and often do not change out of my office casual. I often roll up my pants legs to keep from stepping on them. Sometime the morning trip to the garden results in rolled up pants making it to the office.
