The watercolor process is an experiment iāve tried off and on, and while I think it looks okay online, iām
not as sure about the result after it goes to press. The printed versions, at least in the papers iāve seen, have
been too dark, opaque and smudgy.
Wiley Miller pioneered something like this in his strip
several years back, but after a couple of years, I think he
may have transitioned to another process.
