I’m so sorry. It’s heartbreaking.

I am so sorry Frank. Your strips commemorating the departure of your pets are beautiful. I save them for when I need them in my life. My heart goes out to you and your family for Tommy’s loss.

I have been through this too many times. Each was honored through my own form of memorial, the rescue of another stray or shelter kitty. So, without knowing it, each passed on the gift to another. .(But somehow I got the math wrong. The current kitty count keeps growing.)

My heart goes out to you. And honors you for wrapping such a beautiful being in love….

So sorry about your loss, each cat holds a piece of our heart, and for dogs, ferrets, rats, birds, each pet.

I know that we will see each of our pets in the after life. It’s because at the time my dog died when I was 11 or 12, I was in another state out walking alone on my uncle’s ranch in a pasture when I saw my dog. The vision was so real, she was running toward me, and as I knelt down to hold her, she vanished.It seemed odd at the time, but when we went home went to the vet where we had left her since she was feeling sick, she had died at the time I saw her.

I was of course distraught but I have never doubted the existance of the after life since.

I hope that may help in some small way. Tommy looks like he was a wonderful cat.

Oh Frank, I have tears in my eyes, I’m so sorry for you losing Tommy. It never easy, even if they were sick.Words cannot express how much I feel for you.
