I had a bad day today. Hey, just because I had a bad day doesn't mean you have to be sad, too. Sorry, it doesn't work that way with dogs. If you want to mope around by yourself, you should have gotten a goldfish for a pet.
Once my dog was on the floor watching my sister-in-law cry about something as I sat next to her. I looked at my dog and told her that Teresa needed some warm fuzzies. My dog immediately jumped on the sofa and licked her cheek! It was so sweet.

Being sensitive to the moods of pack-mates does carry some downsides. That’s why Dogs are such good company though!

My pugs only let me mope a short time. Then they jump on me saying “lets play.” Its hard to stay gloomy with romping pugs around.

Thank you, Rover, for saying “goldfish” and not “cat.” Even cats can express apparent sympathy sometimes.

Yep. Dogs’ll worry with you till you feel better. They make sure it doesn’t take too long.
