I do miss my old ’66 beetle. Kept it for 21 years. Change the oil and adjust the valves every 3K miles and it could run happily forever. And it was easy (or affordable) to do those things.
I like the older cars and the “older” technicians who work on them! Today you run a diagnostic and just change a part out instead of actually repairing the part…
Cute comeback! The older cars were the best to work on and cheaper. Now you have to pay a fortune just to find out what is wrong. Then another fortune to actually fix it.
