My watch isn’t so smart. The window currently says Sunday 21st. Every so often when I’m passing the store I get it set as I’ve yet to figure out how to do it right first time. Not to mention the fact that I can’t read it comfortably.
Within 3 to 9 months of getting and wearing any watch, windup, self winding, even electric (think Acutron), they would stop working. I know of 3 jewellers who refused to sell me a watch after replacing several (in South Bend, IN, Chicago, IL and Dothan, AL). All said the same thing: "You have an electrical imbalance or aura that causes corrosion in watches. I stopped wearing them and switched to a pocket watch on a chain and fob. Anyone else know of or have this occur?
when first digitals became cheap around $10 and having beeps and alarms more ambush training and infiltrations training classes were knocked out by that annoying beeps and alarms LOL fast learning made easy
Bruno Zeigerts: I have on an IndiGlo watch right now. It stopped lighting up over a year ago, but still keeps accurate time, which is the basic idea for a watch.

Bought mine 46 years ago, a Seiko, gets a tune up every time I have a new grandchild. They need to see how old things work just as good as new.
