How about we put a bag on the head of every person in the room and have people talk through a voice synthesizer so no one will know the gender, color or sexual orientation of the person being interviewed? Can’t do that, it would be bag profiling.
Might we reflect that Thomas stayed silent, and has continued to do so in oral argument on the bench? His written opinions or descent are even weirder than having him speak.
I think the Senators need to be inquiring, and logical in their questioning- but well, one can only hope.

I think she can handle the tough questions.
The problem is, what will the GOP do, behind the scenes with malicious innuendo, rumor mongering, and misogynistic slander?
