…or remember he’s not under contract. If he doesn’t like it, find another job.

Thirty pounds! Pooey! When I was delivering mail, I carried two (yes, 2!) bags, of 60 pounds each! Not every day, but when each house gets 2 copies of Life, Look, Saturday Evening Post, Time, US News and World Report, Wall Street Journal, and the Christian Science Monitor, it makes for a lot of mail! Even on normal days, it was one 60 pound bag!

Best job I ever had, by the way!

I’ve been a letter carrier in 100+ F degree weather on a walking route. It’s not fun, but most people are surprisingly helpful and kind because they know the job is difficult.

“Junk mail” is the financial life blood of the Postal Service. Without it we’d not have a postal service.

Why complain about the junk mail at all, Broomie dearest? Isn’t that the only mail you ever get?
