Night-Gaunt49: Unfortunately, when I was that age, the Great Depression was winding down and WW-II had just started in this country.

As best as I can remember. On ‘WONDER YEARS’ the ‘Kevin’ character was a year younger than I would have been in the years portrayed in the show. What gets me about ‘Red’ is I had the Steve Canyon flight helmet, we played astronaut with old appliance boxes from my pop’s store etc. Always had a dog and always did the other kinds of things he does.

According to Wikipedia, which is not always reliable, Red and Rover “is usually set around the end of the 1960s or the beginning of the 1970s”

By that time, many of us would be adults; maybe even committing adultery…(ducking now!)
