This reminds me of the first Hubris here at GoComics. If you are not familiar with Hubris, it is by the same guy that does The Buckets but like a Mitty-esque version of a guy who grows up to be an adolescent.

Hard to predict here. This summer, the paper is delivered between 4:15 a.m. and 7:15 a.m..Fortunately, most days I can hear the delivery car’s frequent slowing and acceleration.

Used to have home delivery, but after repeated attempts to stop the delivery “guy” from driving over our front lawn (the driveway is curved, and apparently the driver does not know how to handle curves at slow speed in the dark of night), I cancelled and went on-line only!

Miss the “paper” paper some times, but not the tire tracks in the lawn…

I do that occasionally. Then I remember that I cancelled the subscription.

The paper is on the roof……………or under the truck. Either way, you’ll have to work to retrieve it. And no, it won’t be worth the effort.
