Claude needs some newspaper for that spill until the mechanic shows up.

It means you’re out of oil.

Real pluggers do not have oil slicks. They actually maintain their vehicles so there are no leaks.Black smoke, yes. Oil puddles? No.

It’s easy to change the oil in some old cars – just add more oil every day.

I think his name should be spelled “Clawed.”

A lot of engines, both domestic and import, were ruined prematurely by the use of 10w40 oils. While this multi viscosity oil was useful in older engines with a fair amount of cylinder wear to reduce oil consumption, once up to operating temps, it actually reduced the amount of lubricant available to many bearing surfaces in newer engines with tighter tolerances.

Most manufacturers beginning in the mid to late 1980s and beyond, told owners to only use 10w30 and never 10w40 or higher multi-vis oils because of these improved manufacturing techniques. In our Cadillacs, Mobil One 5w30 is the recommended choice.

Anyway, this is a comic and not a discussion on oil usage…
