The only appearance of Lila in the Peanuts comic strip, though she would later appear in the animated movie “Snoopy, Come Home”.

These days Snoopy would have a “Therapy Dog” jacket to slip into—job done.

No Beagles but Miniature Schnauzers are welcome

Miniature Schnauzers are the nicest dogs! I’ve had 3 in my life. Little groomed-up grey canine friends!

I thought Lila was a girl dog. This arc is new to me.

Now I have “Do You Remember Me?” from “Snoopy, Come Home” on my mind, humming it as I read the strip!

Won’t Charlie Brown be saying in a few weeks “I got a used puppy?”

I seem to recall that the story of Lila is that someone in her family was Seriously Allergic and they couldn’t keep Snoopy, no matter How Much Lila loved him..
